My passion for the gut health space didn’t come from just anywhere, I too was in your position. Stuck, confused, and desperate for a solution to my chronic gut & skin symptoms.

And after one to many “there’s nothing wrong with you” doctor visits I knew from a young age I would always be a girl with a sensitive stomach. (so I thought)
By the time I got to high school I hit the age where I was embarrassed to be the girl with “IBS”, “gut symptoms” & “food allergies”. I kept it hush hush & truly felt pretty isolating.
I set out on a mission to understand why I felt the way that I did. While studying to be a dietitian, I was doing everything I knew to do - eat healthy, follow the low FODMAP diet, remove foods that bother me, exercise, see a GI doc (just in case this one was different) - but despite following all the “rules”, my gut symptoms got worse.
In grad school it really felt like my dirty little secret that my stomach hurt so bad - I thought “what am I doing wrong?” With time my gut issues turned skin issues and I was diagnosed with a skin condition called psoriasis. I graduated grad school bloated and itchy - but still on the same mission to understand why I felt the way that I did. With 6 years of nutrition knowledge under my belt, I wanted to take this to clinical practice - beyond the way the conventional space was allowing to.
After grad school I went on and completed functional nutrition training, & learned everything there is to know about a root cause approach.
Simply put, it worked.
That push to dig deeper quite literally changed my life... and now, it can change yours too

I was referred to Jamie by another nutritionist. I honestly had no idea the road I was starting to go down when I just sent a simple DM to someone about a food sensitivity test but everything happens for a reason and now I cannot imagine not working with Jamie.
